Thunderbird takes very little time to install, and is fairly easy to set up, and the instructions for the mail server settings are available in the BT Mail help pages.

Webmail is being foisted on us all, but it is a vastly inferior product for a whole number of reasons, mainly to do with security. I really would encourage you to consider using thunderbird or a similar mail client. Sorry to hear about your problems - or rather - BTMail's problems. Not sure if this is a discussion or just some self therapy anyway i dont want to have to install it on all my machines. yeah thats ok but seeing im paying top wack for my internet i think i shouldnt need to go get some other software to read my mail if bt provide a service already as part of their package. Saw some other discussions here about workarounds for bt web mail.

I then have to go back to my inbox, and start the whole ticking process again as its not remembered anything i was doing less than a second ago.Īlso anyone notice on occasion that you "compose" an email and you put your recipient address in ok but try clicking or tabbing into the main body of the email and where's me cursor gone. What happened to the old spam filter that was sooo good. What is it when trying to tick unwanted emails in the list and just supposedly being a nano of a mill outside of the little box it goes and opens the email that you really dont want to read, especially since there's been an increase in the number of spam mails coming through.
